Description
The Shoe Museum Lausanne's collection tells the story of footwear across Europe through the ages. Its collection consists of more than 400 examples (mainly reconstructions based on archaeological discoveries) of ancient footwear from Prehistoric times to the pre-industrial era and other leather accessories and the tools that were needed to make them.
The Wiki Commons collection includes 350 high-quality photos of many of the over 400 objects in the museum's collection.
